mondays go by quick [02 Jul 2007|02:31pm]
Sitting here bored at work, I took a look at the entries of this lj all the way back to the beginning. There were a few re-ocurring themes that I noticed, boredom and depression... I believe the lack of those factors has invoked a drought with this journal, up until today anyway (boredom strikes again). I like thinking about the past, the changes that have occured, and getting a good sense of maturity and successfulness about the present me.

I've been thinking about this time capsule lately... putting $10k in a savings account for a long time, lets say 100 years, so I'm obviously dead by the time it's opened, and by then my great grandkids are getting old, I'd plan a family reunion for whatever immediate family I have around that time (probably grandchildrens grandkids) and have them open it. if I put in 10k now, in 100 years at 10% it ends up being like $137,806,123.00... and in 125 years it would be up to nearly 1.5 billion... think about that happening to you... your great great grandpa leaving your family an inheritance like that to split. Although, I've kept in mind that alot happens over 100-125 years, who's to say it would work, and that's even if i found a bank that would honor something over that timespan... it's an interesting idea anyway... to me it would be worth the risk.

my work is really slow today... it's slow everyday lately, although, the parts department did make hella money last month, more than any individual mechanic by far...

my family left again =/...

I want to go camping this summer, and alot of swimming too.

oh well... back to "work"

random thought [08 Feb 2007|11:20pm]
if you could save a strangers life, but it would mean you'd have to lose a finger, would you do it?

keep in mind that you'll never meet this person (stranger)

if you answered yes, assuming the rate of a strangers life is equal to one of your fingers, and that you could lose all 10 to save 10 lives, how many lives would you chose to save?

work is slow, and by work I mean the mechanics dont have much to work on. Maybe I should say "business" is slow? you get the point... so I'm not busy, that's the point.

Immediatly after writing ^ that, I was busy for 15 minutes.

Expect the unexpected.

hi. [05 Feb 2007|12:51am]
you ever have a good idea... and only remember that you HAD a good idea, and are unable to remember exactly what the idea was?

Aashika is the BEST kisser ever, also: It's extremely rewarding to feel loved, I am truly blessed.

best commercial of the superbowl "I threw rock" (2nd: the robot suicide commercial, glad to see it was just a nightmare)

I just noticed that the kickoff return average for either team was almost equal indy-22.5, bears-23. Peyton had a good game(25-38 247), but I thought rhodes did better 21 for 113, they both had td's... but you have to give it to peyton anyways I suppose. What happened to the bears run game though?... embearassing. oh well, at least I got to see the miami colors all over the field and whatnot, pretty exciting. overall i'd say the game was pretty cool, alot going on.

I was checking my email earlier and saw a 14.5 lb baby from mexico on comcast.net, 14.5 pound?! one thing is for sure, that lady is NEVER having kids again, that must have been traumatic, they should name him monster and start feeding him growth stunting pills before he ends up like clifford the big red dog. HUGE.

so I get off from work at 430, and dont have class till 630, so I think I'm going to designate an hour of that for a workout, especially since I've been slacking on the gym lately.

does anyone know of an active class that's at least a unit, something like... swimming, or basketball, even golf? saturday or sunday would be preferable.

Flawless.

soooo [08 Oct 2006|09:01pm]
I'm feeling quite accomplished lately.

Been working out lately, want to keep it steady, nothing repititious and boring, just cool type workout time. 5x5 style. quick and effiecient.

stl won today, I'll take the mets in the nlcs in 6. tigers in 7. it's no difference to me anywho...

I hope Aashika's alright, too much stress for her lately, I love that WOMAN (yea, your grown).

next month I start with the house, 1/2 way to where I want to be.

One last point is that I was supposed to have my ride along with the fremont pd today, (or next sunday), but i'd of preffered it to be today, oh well.

ya'll have a goodnight.

dolphins... 1-4... un-acceptable.

I put some money into my truck, I think I'll start driving it, changed the fuel air oil filters, plugs, cap, rotor, wires and pcv valve. Should start on the exhaust next weekish.

That departed movie was GREAT. No over-hype what so ever. great plot, great story, great actors, and a great ending.

weeks are just flying...
